Our daughter Frankie is a very gentle and sensitive little girl, and having started school at the age of two she initially struggled to settle in. As she entered her second year of school, she joined Tanya's class. This was when things finally turned around for our daughter. Tanya's gentle and nurturing nature was exactly what Frankie needed. Frankie flourished under her guidance and the growth she experienced during this time was beautiful to watch. Not only did Frankie continue to impress us with the valuable skills she gained in the classroom, but what stood about for us most, was the joyful enthusiasm she expressed when talking about school, and of course her teacher, Tanya. With Tanya's nurturing approach, Frankie's confidence really soared and a passion for learning was ignited. We wish Tanya the best of luck with Nature's House Preschool, and I am confident that she will create a nurturing and loving space for children.

Jo joined the Penguin class beginning of 2020, with Tanya as his teacher, and me Nicola as his facilitator. Jo has Cerebral Palsy and needs assistance with doing most things. He started going to school two mornings a week and then three mornings a week from 9 am -12 pm, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jo really enjoyed the interaction with the children and his teachers Tanya and Vanessa. Tanya made Jo feel so welcome and part of the group, including him in all the activities where possible for him to partake. He was really made to feel special and loved by all in the class and school environment. Jo enjoyed having Tanya as his teacher as she was always attentive to his needs as well as being patient, kind, fun and loving. We miss having Tanya at Stepping Stones, but wish her all the best with her future.

Tanya was the gentlest, yet firm teacher for my daughter. She engaged with children in a manner that allowed them to expand beyond prescribed measures of age-appropriate benchmarks, thus unboxing them and giving them a sense of independence and self-confidence.

Tanya was my son's pre-school teacher for almost three years. I have a busy, energetic, and rather challenging boy, yet Tanya's immense patience, kindness and compassion, and wonderful skills as a Montessori teacher, helped him enormously through three very tricky years. We were so sad to hear that Tanya was leaving (especially my son) but wish her so much success with her new school and know that all the kids who will have the privilege of being in her class will love her just as much as we do.
